ARRIVAL

She arrived one day with her suitcase
With stickers from all over the globe
Emptied her clothes in the spare room
Then hung them all in the wardrobe
Walked around the garden with bare feet
Emptied her thoughts on the lawn
Remembering things from the future
Also things from before she was born
Her eyes were all misty and hazy
But she saw everything clear as day
She was a figment of my imagination
And I knew she had come here to stay.
